About Wanjiru

Gentle, trauma-informed sound work designed to support your whole self.

Wanjiru is a trauma-informed sound bath facilitator who brings a grounded, compassionate, and deeply intentional presence to every session. Her work centers on helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience nervous-system ease in a safe and supportive environment.

Her Story

From personal exploration to a practice that holds space for all.

Wanjiru’s journey into sound healing began with her own search for stillness, presence, and deeper emotional clarity. Over time, she witnessed how sound when shared with intention can soften the body, quiet the mind, and open space for true healing.

Her practice is rooted in the belief that well-being is not a luxury, but a human need. UWEPO was born from this commitment: to create spaces where people can feel held, seen, and restored.

Her Approach

Wanjiru blends sound healing with evidence-informed wellness practices. Her approach includes:

  • A trauma-informed foundation

  • Orientation to nervous-system regulation

  • Thoughtful pacing and intentional silence

  • Gentle language woven into the experience

  • Creating a space where people feel grounded, safe, and supported

Her sessions invite your whole self, mind, body, and spirit into a place of presence and ease.

Testimonials

  • Wanjiru radiates goodness, and when she creates sound, that goodness is being amplified. Her sound bath practice is stirring, soothing, inspiring, and deeply grounding—it is healing in the truest sense. When she recently facilitated a sound bath for a community event, her work provided the perfect foundation for meaningful dialogue about what it means to hurt, heal, and thrive as humans. I'm not always sure what is being or needing to be healed as she guides us through the experience, but the feelings are ones we'd all do better experiencing more often. Wanjiru's authentic presence and powerful practice create and inspire peace, and ripples goodness in every possible direction. I wholeheartedly recommend Wanjiru’s work.

  • I’ve been lucky enough to experience two sound baths led by Wanjiru. She has a deep and genuine presence, which translates to her sound healing. She weaves in creative and meaningful words that meet the moment and help ground the whole experience. Her sound baths allow me to fully relax, quiet my thoughts, and calm my body. Afterwards, I feel more alive yet peaceful; buzzy yet anchored. I’d highly recommend Wanjiru for a sound bath as a powerful partner in healing.
